Fundraising

This isn't so much a "Form and Packet" as much as it is a brown paper bag. You know, what you need to breath into the minute someone says, "We need to raise money for our mission trip."

You aren't the only person who breaks out in a sweat when fundraising is mentioned. It is one of the least popular things we like to do ~ it tends to rate right after giving sermons on tithing. Relax; we're here to help!

In the Go Manual, you will find a section on fundraising. But that isn't where it stops. There are wonderful resources available to help you. One of our favorites is through www.roundtripmission.com. They have a whole section devoted to fundraising. In addition to some great articles, they have a terrific tool that allows you to set up an online donation site for free. You can custom design your page and even list your team members so that donors can give to the group or to individuals. We strongly encourage you to take advantage of this. It will help convey to everyone the committment that you have made to being obedient to the Great Commission and it will allow them to do so as well, by coming alongside you and supporting you financially.
