Late Nights @ His Warehouse

Late Nights @ His Warehouse is our unique 24-hour mission trip. On Friday evening, groups open up the warehouse to feed, entertain and minister to the adult community that populates Main Street on a Friday night. The next morning, after breakfast, they work in the Compassion Center, on a construction project or some other community outreach. Then after lunch it's off to Washington Heights for a children's day camp. 24-hours, three mission fields ~ maximum impact in minimum time!!! If you've participated in this ministry, share with others your experience.  You might be just the person to help them overcome the coefficient of friction and get moving!

Hey everyone! I wish you could have been out at Washington Heights last saturday 2-13-10. We had a great turnout of about 50 people from the communitty come. There were at least 15 that prayed a prayer of forgiveness after the Bible study. We had a great time with the step team that showed us some of their moves and also had a great pre-valentine art and craft.

I am here to give a bit of wisdom to all who seek it. The quest of knowledge is only god when it is towards making your faith stronger do note seek in place that could hurt your faith for not all the reasons that make things right are to be found.

Last summer, we carried 16 members to N.Main Street to work with Words to Works for a week. We were all blessed greatly by out experiences that week. We then came back to Ozark, AL and conducted our own block party. Previous attempts at a block party in our area resulted with maybe ten participants (mostly, if not all church members). The event after our trip to Jacksonville, with the application from our learning experience in Jacksonville, we had over 100 community in attendance. This summer, we carried 10 back to work with Pastor Nick and his crew for the weekend. We are truly blessed to be able to participate in such a worthwhile mission opportunity in which we are not only to be a part of missions outreach in an inner city area, but are also equipped to go back and do the very same things to reach our own community. I urge anyone who is contemplating taking a trip to work with Words to Works to step out of the boat!

My husband and I joined another church of 15 youth and adults for a 24 hour mission trip. We had a great time together; talking to business owners, people on the street, praying at the local high school. For the youth it was awesome to have them pray for adults and see them gain boldness. At Washington Heights those children just soak up the attention and light up with smiles. Pastor Nick's and Jeremiah's insights and debriefing was great to be able to help us have this experience. Going once is not enough!

Sharing God's love with God's people had an emotional impact on me. I realized these people are just like me and we are all part of one body. I found myself praying with complete strangers. God has humbled me through this experience and I want God to continue working through me to reach his people.

This was a very eye-opening experience. As you meet the people in this community, you are reminded that God loves everyone and that there is nothing that I or anyone could do to earn that love. Jesus told us to GO, which was a commandment not a suggestion, and this experience helps to show that every person that you meet provides an opportunity to share the love of Christ. I was somewhat apprehensive about going out to this community to share His love and pray for people, but it was humbling to know that God needs us to reach out to this community just as much as any country in the world. Our mission starts here, and it was a blessing to learn this. God is really using this place, and the people here to reach Jacksonville.

糟糕了!我的LDOCE4v2(Updated Edition)、CALD2、OALD7、COED11都同時出現“License data is invalid!Please cotcnat Customer Support for further instructions.”
